RV Curtains NZ · About
Curtains for vans, measured one window at a time.
RV Curtains NZ supplies curtains, honeycomb blinds, magnetic blinds and drop-down blinds for campervans, motorhomes and caravans - cut to the sizes of your windows, lined the way you ask for them, and sent anywhere in New Zealand.
Why vans only
A house window is a flat rectangle in a flat wall. A van window is rarely either. It has a rubber or a plastic surround, a door card, upholstery built up to it, and a track that has to live around something else - a seat belt, a cupboard, a light. Because that is the only thing we do, the questions we ask first are the ones that decide whether the curtain fits: the shape of the glass, where the fabric can hang from, and how far it can drop before it catches on the seat.
Small van, awkward windows - the case most curtain sets fail on.
How an order works
01
Measure, or send a photo
Write a line per window in the size box, or photograph each window square on in daylight. Photos are often enough on their own.
02
We check the numbers
If a size looks wrong against the photo, we ask before anything is cut. This is the step that saves a second order.
03
You get a price
One price for the set, or per window for blinds. Blackout, thermal or bonded lining is chosen here, not guessed.
04
Cut, sewn, sent
Tracks and fittings go out with the set, with a note on where each one is for.
Made to a number, not to a size range
Curtains and blinds are cut for the sizes you send. That is why one van's set is not simply a bigger version of another's, and why we would rather ask twice than guess: a honeycomb blind cut for the glass of your window folds flat against it, and a curtain cut for the glass plus an overlap stops the light leaking down the edge at 5am.
