A battery this size is a shape in the layout before it is anything else. 200AH of lithium storage at 12V needs a home inside the van.
- 200AH at 12V, lithium ion
- Supplies the fridge, lights, pump and charging sockets
- Site it close to the equipment it feeds
Where it lands decides how the interior is finished around it. Keep it low, keep the run to the distribution point short, and leave enough clear space to get at it without dismantling a cabinet. In a tight layout that usually means a locker or under a seat base, with the panel over it removable rather than fixed.
The store is supplied as part of the lithium power system for the van, so the placement is worked out with the rest of the electrical install.
Does it need to be visible?
No. It belongs out of the living space, with access kept for servicing.
