A 24V system starts with the battery position, because 100AH of storage sets a footprint inside the van.

The interior question is the same as any battery: where can it sit low, out of the living space, with access kept for servicing, without putting a long cable run through the fit-out. In a heavier system that run carries a lower current at 24V than the lighter setup would, which gives a little more freedom in how you route it behind the cabinetry.
Decision first, panelling second. It is supplied as part of the lithium power system, so the placement ties in with the electrical layout of the van.
How much room does it need?
Enough for the unit plus working space around it. Reserve that on the plan before the cabinetry goes in.
