In a finished interior, a charging point is only as good as where it sits. This 12V socket has USB-A and USB-C in one faceplate.
- USB-A and USB-C on a single plate
- Runs off 12V, no inverter needed for charging
- One opening in the lining instead of two
Placement is the interesting part of the job. Put it at the head of a bunk or beside the seating, level with the surrounding trim and clear of window coverings, and check the 12V cable can reach that point behind the panel before it goes on. A recess keeps the faceplate flush with the wall finish rather than standing off it.
It belongs with the electrical side of the fit-out, installed while the interior is still open.
Will it take a camera charger as well as a phone?
Yes. USB-A and USB-C cover both, with no adapter in between.
